Scarecrows in the Coulee
Get creative and join the fall fun! 🍂🎃
The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce invites businesses, clubs, organizations, schools, churches, youth groups, families, and individuals to participate in Scarecrows in the Coulee, a community-wide scarecrow contest happening throughout October.
Create your own family-friendly scarecrow and put it on display at your home, business, or organization in Electric City, Grand Coulee, Coulee Dam, or Elmer City. Scarecrows may go on display beginning October 1st and can be added throughout the month.
The Chamber will publish a list of participating scarecrow locations and encourage community members to explore the Coulee, check out the creative displays, and vote for their favorite!

Participation is FREE!
Scarecrows may be displayed anytime beginning October 1st. To be included on the official community voting ballot, your scarecrow must be completed and registered by October 20th.
Each participant is responsible for displaying their scarecrow at their own home, business, or organization.
Please note: The address provided with your registration will be published publicly as part of the Chamber's list of participating scarecrow locations so community members can visit and view your display.
The only requirement is that all scarecrow displays must be family-friendly. Otherwise, have fun and get creative!
Community Voting
🗳️ October 20th–31st
Community members will have the opportunity to vote online for their favorite scarecrow. A link and QR code to the official voting ballot will be published on October 20th.
Voting closes at 11:59 PM on October 31st.
Prizes
🏆 Cash prizes will be awarded for:
🥇 1st Place
🥈 2nd Place
🥉 3rd Place
Winners will be notified by phone following the close of voting and announced on the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce social media pages.
